Small town sheriff Frank Everly watches in horror as his wife, Mary, is brutally murdered before his eyes. The crazed killer, Vincent Pope, escapes prison with one mission in mind --- to destroy the lawman which sent him there and Frank, himself, must now pull himself together to hunt down his evil adversary.
