"Mamlakat Al-Jabal" is an Egyptian Upper Egyptian television series. In the depths of Upper Egypt, in the barren desert and amidst the mountains, a fresh spring springs. Many families settled in "Nagaa Al-Jabal" (The Mountain Village), cultivating their land and living in prosperity. They were not even mentioned in official documents, whether in birth or death records. They were governed by customary law formulated by the elders of their tribe, generation after generation.
But with the increase in their numbers and the scarcity of land, a conflict erupted between the Hassan, Al-Bandari, and Al-Abbadi families. Despite the families' keenness to be wise, conflicts often erupted between them, especially within the Bandari family, which tends toward brutality and recklessness. Events unfold, and we see "Muna' Hassan Al-Huwaiti", the only one among the villagers with a birth certificate, an ID card, and an education. His mother gave birth to him in a Qena hospital while visiting the shrine of Sheikh Abdel Rahim Al-Qanawi. Mana' excelled in his studies, reaching high school. However, something happened that turned the lives of the poor villagers upside down with the discovery of an ancient tomb. They quickly contacted a foreign expert, who helped them solve the mystery of the tomb. Indeed, the foreigner was able to find the treasure, but the families fought over it and tried to kill the foreigner.
