Transformations

In a society where most things are identified as black or white, we will meet four young men that will challenge the color barriers. Brian DePalma (Joe Bartolatta), a caucasian teen, who after the inconceivable, tragic murder of his mother is compelled to run away and take refuge in the very streets that claimed his mother's life.Brian is taken in by a neighborhood drug dealer, Saide (Kenneth Browning). The two share a special kinship as it was the murder of Saide's father that consequentially led to the death of Brian's mother.Once under Saide's wing,Brian befriends Carlos&Sharon. With the ghost of his father's memory and the guilt of his death haunting him,Saide steers Brian into exacting a murderous plan that will avenge their prospective parent's death.Brian's ultimate discovery in his new surroundings is a new world, where everything he knew to be right is wrong, and everything he knew to be wrong was right. The same can be said for Saide, who after colliding with Brian, his perspective on life has broadened and he can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel, the way out of the 'hood.
